Commissioners reviewed the Sharrock application to construct an above ground pool on their property located at 79 Upper Troy Road, Map 33, Lot 2.
Mr. Sharrock showed phoots of where the pool will be located on the property. Their home was built in 2003. The pool will be about 150 feet from the road. He said that the very top of the pool may be seen if one is driving down Upper Troy Road in a truck; otherwise it shouldn’t be seen at all. Their house is on a hill and the pool will be screened from the neighbor by a tree buffer.
They plan to extend their deck to surround the pool next year and meanwhile will use the metal deck that comes with it. The pool is 52 inches high and the stairs fold up onto the metal deck platform for safety.
McHugh moved, Luddy seconded and the Commission approved the application as presented.

The Commissioners agreed to hold a public hearing on the revised Rules of Procedures and Regulations at the July 10, 2008 meeting.
