Fairpoint Communications Rebranding Project sign replacements on former Verizon building on Upper Troy Road, Map 32, Lot 27, Residential and Historic Districts.
The Commission reviewed the application and discussed the change. The sign is comparable to the existing Verizon sign but in a different location, which is acceptable. Yon moved, Guild seconded and the Commission voted to approve the application.
Commissioners reviewed minutes of 7/10/08 meeting. Luddy moved, Guild seconded and the Commission approved the minutes, subject to changing the Hurst lot number if necessary (Lot 13 is correct).
The Commissioners reviewed the revised Rules of Procedures and Regulations and made several comments. The public had no comments. Luddy moved, Guild seconded and the Commissioners voted to adopt the Revised Rules of Procedure and Regulations.
The Commission decided to develop a list of properties in town constructed in 1900 or earlier as a first step in building an inventory of historic properties in the town. They noted that there are historic properties throughout the town, not just in the historic district, that should be noted as historic resources in town.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:35 PM.
