BOARD MEETING MINUTES
July 26, 2006
Selectmen Present: Andrew Clukey, Chmn., Thomas Parker, & Michael Methe
Chairman Andrew Clukey opened the meeting at 7:00 PM.
PRIMARY:
7:15pm MEET WITH LEE HOLOMBO: Mr. Holombo did not attend this meeting
*** REVIEW WATER TEST FROM PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING: The amount of chloride is still above the
accepted level.
*** REVIEW TRANSPORTATION PLAN: Reviewed. Mr. Parker would like to speak with Debra Pignatelli
with regard to the intersection of Rt. 119 & Rt. 12 Mr. Parker stated there is a special fund in DOT that
helps with the cost of repairs of roads to state parks. Mr. Parker would like to line this up for next year for
Rhododendron Road.
*** REVIEW COURT DOCKET: Reviewed
*** DETERMINE WETLANDS ( MAP 07, Lot 67-03): The board will visit this site
*** REVIEW PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF DECISION: Reviewed
*** REVIEW PROPERTY TRANSFER: Reviewed
*** REVIEW INVOICES
ORR & RENO: Reviewed & approved
GOODNOW , PRIGGE & KANE: Reviewed & approved
*** REVIEW NOTICIFICATION OF FOREST MANAGEMENT: Reviewed
*** REPORT FROM CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER:
Bourrasa: follow up of March letter, if not removed by September 1, 2006 this will be turned over to
town attorney, each day of violation counts as separate violations. The board will send a letter stating
we will start court proceedings it not removed by September 1, 2006.
*** LAUREL LAKE BEACH WATER TESTS: Reviewed
*** DISCUSS ZBA FEE
Re: Heitala: Mrs. Heitala requested the application fee be waived. The board will not waive fee
*** BUILDING PERMIT
Warnke: Approved
Boucher: Approved
Lawless: Approved
*** SOUTHWEST REGION PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Parker questioned how much we utilize these
services.
*** LETTER FROM STILLMAN ROGERS
re: County Commissioner: The board would like to meet with him.
*** ACCCESS TO LAUREL LAKE: Mr. Methe feels the land between the boat landing and Dwinnell’s should
be taxed. There is a dock on this property which provides access to the lake. No one is paying taxes on
this. Mr. Parker would like to send a letter to the Whipple Heirs that we are going to assess tax on the
property, including the board landing area. If they do not pay the tax, then the town will proceed with
taking the land.
*** RABID FOX: There was a fox in town that bit a child that was rabid. Mr. Clukey stated that Chief Newton
did contact him with regard to this situation. Mr. Parker would like to place an article in the newsletter with
regard to this. Mr. Methe will speak with Chief Newton to make sure the Keene Sentinel has notice of this.
*** NON-PUBLIC SESSION – PERSONNEL ISSUE
At 7:45 PM, Mr. Methe made a motion to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (a). Mr.
Clukey seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote; Mr. Clukey – yes, Mr. Parker
yes, Mr. Methe – yes.
At 8:05 PM. Mr. Clukey made a motion to go out of Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr.
Parker seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0

There being no further business Mr. Parker moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:10 PM, Mr. Clukey seconded, the motion passed 3-0.
