Selectmen Present: Michael Methe, Chmn., Thomas Parker, & Carmen Yon
Chairman Michael Methe opened the meeting at 7:00 PM
PRIMARY:
7:30pm MEET WITH CAROLE BECKWITH & TERRY GARCIA: Mrs. Beckwith stated that they have a letter from the EPA
which asks the town to participate in an energy challenge. They would like them to evaluate the town buildings
energy use and try to reduce by 10%. If we sign on we would have access to software on line. Mr. Parker
questioned who would do all of the work of compiling the information. Mrs. Beckwith stated that the committee
would. They plan to put an energy related article in the newsletter. A member of the Conservation Commission
plans to attend their meetings. Mr. Parker stated that all meetings need to be posted and minutes need to be taken.
Mrs. Beckwith stated they may have a mailing. Mr. Parker stated that they would need to let the Board know if we
need to budget for this.
7:45 FITZWILLIAM FIREWARDS - NON-PUBLIC SESSION – PERSONNEL:
At 7:45 PM, Mr. Methe made a motion to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (a). Mr.
Parker seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote; Mr. Parker – Yes, Mr. Methe –
Yes., Mr. Yon - Yes
At 8:05 PM. Mr. Methe made a motion to go out of Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (a). Mr.
Parker seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0.
Mr. Methe stated that we still have not received a copy of the grant application for the tanker. Mr. Methe questioned
what is currently happening to checks received by the Association made out to the town. Mr. Prigge stated that he
would have to inquire about this. The board had requested the firewards secretary payroll sheet monthly with a
breakdown of hours.

*** BOARD OF TAX AND LAND APPEALS – FLEUR DIS LIS: Mr. Parker spoke with the BTLA with regard to this matter. They have until December 10, 2007 to provide information to the BTLA. Mr. Yon questioned if we want Gary Roberge from Avitar to get involved in this. Mr. Parker feels the board should be able to handle most abatements. Mr. Methe agreed , if there is a particular case then we can have Gary handle it. Mr. Yon feels that we should take abatements and appeals out of the contract and contract this on an hourly basis.
*** REVIEW UPDATED BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION: Reviewed and approved
8:15 MEET WITH CHIEF WAYNE KASSOTIS:

*** CIP: Mr. Yon stated that the Selectmen need to put together a CIP. Mr. Parker stated that he feels that we need to
take a close look at how we are funding capital projects.
