Selectmen Present: Thomas Parker, Chmn., Carmen Yon, & Susan Silverman
*** BUILDING PERMIT NEEDED FOR BRIDGE?: We will send a letter stating we do not have a way of reviewing the bridge
standards and have no specifications. The town has no responsibility for guaranteeing the safety of the bridge.
*** LETTER FROM CHIEF TIRRELL – MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT: The board will review this letter. A copy will be sent to the
firewards. Mr. Tirrell is agreeing that all department heads should meet to discuss an ambulance agreement.
*** TOWN BEACH WATER TEST RESULTS – JULY 30: Reviewed
*** REMINDER: ROAD SAFETY AUDIT MEETING TOMORROW AT 2PM:

At 7:35 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (a). Mr. Yon
seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Parker – yes, Mr. Yon – yes, Mrs. Silverman-yes

*** VOTE ON OFFICIAL ROAD NAMES WITHIN WOODBROOK CAMP & TENNIS CLUB: Kathy Powers suggested Pine Road
be changed to Pine Tree Lane. Mr. Yon moved to rename this road and adopt all other road names in Woodbrook, the
motion was seconded by Mr. Parker, the motion passed 3-0.
Tax Deed Woodbrook Properties: Mrs. Thompson feels that this agreement needs to extend to December 31, 2010. Mr.
Yon feels that we should extend this until April 15, 2011.
*** REQUISITION FOR TREE WORK IN VILLAGE CEMETERY: Mr. Yon is concerned that this quote is per day. Mr. Yon
moved to approve, the motion was seconded by Mrs. Silverman, the motion passed 3-0.
*** CEMETERY REQUISITION FOR NEW MOWER FOR CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Yon moved to table this, the motion
was seconded by Mrs. Silverman, the motion passed 3-0.
*** BTLA CLOSED DOCKET No: 21509-06RA: The BTLA has accepted our revaluation
*** FLU VACCINE GRANT AWARD FROM LGC FOR EMPLOYEES WITH TOWN HEALTH INSURANCE:
*** EMAIL FROM PSNH RE: INCREASE IN ELECTRIC RATES: This is an increase in outdoor lighting. Mr. Yon stated that
at the Planning Board meeting they discussed that you can get quotes from other suppliers.
*** PROPERTY TRANSFER: Reviewed
*** TOWN POLICY WORK SESSION: Mr. Parker would like to review the purchasing and investment policy first.
*** VARIOUS MINUTES:
*** OVERHEAD DOORS AT FIRE STATION: We have a bid from Steve Filipi for these repairs. Ed Mattson was supposed to
come back to the board with other quotes, we have not received them. Mr. Parker would like to remind Mr. Mattson that we
need documentation that he contacted other companies.
*** VERIZON WIRELESS PHONES: The fire department quote is very high. Mrs. Silverman feels that we should just get cell
phones for departments that have the service now and where we are going to save money. She does not feel that we should
have all of the additions for the fire department. Mr. Yon moved to approve five phones; 2 for police, 2 for fire, and 1for the

road agent. The road agent phone will be upgraded to a Motorola adventure. The other phone would include the phone
with no peripherals. Mrs. Silverman seconded the motion, all rebates go to the town. The motion passed 3-0.
*** PALLETS IN WATER AT WOODBROOK: The Conservation Commission reviewed this and the placement of pallets is the
same as putting a dock in the pond. NH requires a permit. We will write a letter stating that they need to contact DES. A
copy of our letter will be sent to DES.
*** PLANNING BOARD: At last nights meeting the board heard the following cases; Ron Chase a 2 lot subdivision on Fullam Hill
Road, a preliminary consultation with Carol Breault discussed subdividing her property. Fitzwilliam Green approved
subdivision , Paul Grasewicz preliminary subdivision on West Lake Road four lots and a preliminary consultation with Fred
Blais for a subdivision on Turnpike and Cross Road.
Carlotta suggested forming official committees of the town, senior housing, wastewater, energy.
