Historic District Minutes 08/10/06
APPROVED
Historic District Commission
Meeting Minutes
August 10, 2006

Members attending:  John Fitzwilliam, Lee Fletcher, Lottie Guild, Brian Luddy, Wendy O’Brien, Reuel Walling.  CTO: 4:05 PM.

Public meeting:  Kristen Prigge application to construct a dormer and make roof changes to their home located at 61 Lower Troy Road, Map 33, Lot 27, Historic/Residential District.

Commission members considered Mrs. Prigge’s application at their last meeting but could not act on it since it was too late for proper public notice.  They considered the issues at the last meeting and in reviewing the application found they had no further questions or comments at this meeting.  No member of the public was present to discuss the application.

Guild moved, Fletcher seconded and the Commission approved the application of Kirsten and William Prigge to add a partial dormer to the main roof and replace the remainder of the main roof, eliminating the separate roof for the existing bay window.

Administrative: A map of the Historic District boundaries will be distributed to members.

A publication on historic preservation will circulate among members of the Commission, prior to Commission planning for preservation ordinances in 2007 and the master plan revision in 2008.

Commission members were invited to join a new email forum sponsored by the NH Division of Historical Resources for heritage and historic district commission members.

Minutes:  Luddy moved, Walling seconded and the Commission approved the minutes of the July 13, 2006 meeting as written.

Fletcher moved, Walling seconded and the Commission voted to adjourn at 4:20 PM.
