BOARD MEETING MINUTES
March 3, 2010
Selectmen Present: Thomas Parker, Chmn., Carmen Yon & Susan Silverman arrived at 7:50 pm
Mr. Parker opened the meeting at 7:00 pm
PRIMARY:
7:45 MEET WITH GENE CUOMO, ROAD AGENT: Mr. Cuomo stated that Mr. Olson is cutting on his lot and moved an
excavator onto the lot. The roads have been closed and we have not issued Mr. Olson a building permit and he has not
applied for an intent to cut. Mr. Cuomo stated that he has been receiving numerous calls from people asking to use the roads
for heavy trucking. A lot of times in the past we have posted the roads and they are still frozen so we make exceptions. The
roads are not frozen now and Mr. Cuomo does not feel that exceptions should be made. The board agreed. The board
suggests Mr. Cuomo speak with Chief Kassotis and request he enforce this.
*** SIGN PAYROLL AND ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANIFESTS: Reviewed and approved
*** REVIEW QUOTE FROM DAVE’S SEPTIC SERVICE INC: They are quoting $60.00 a month. We have checked with a
reference they provided and they have been happy with them. We will switch to this company since they are half of the price
of our existing carrier.
*** ZONING VIOLATION – TAX MAP 12 LOT 02: Jason Hill has built a lot more than the building permit he submitted. Mr.
Parker would like to speak with Mr. Sweeney to discuss this. Mrs. Thompson will schedule a meeting with Mark Sweeney
next week.
*** RESIGNATION FROM MICHAEL ROBIE, DEPUTY TOWN CLERK: Mr. Parker moved to accept this resignation, a letter
thanking him for his service will be sent, the motion was seconded by Mr. Parker, the motion passed 2-0
*** LEGAL COORESPONDENCE – REVIEW LETTER: Reviewed. Mr. Yon moved to have Joe Hoppock mail this, the motion
was seconded by Mrs. Silverman, the motion passed 3-0.
*** TIMBER TAX ASSESSMENT:
- MAP 12 LOTS 05 & 06: 66%
- MAP 17 LOT 04: 66%
- MAP 08 LOT 01: 58%
- MAP 01 LOTS 02 & 10: 66%
*** COORESPONDENCE AND MAP FROM ARGENT COMMUNICATIONS: Reviewed
*** NON-PUBLIC SESSION – WELFARE:
At 7:45 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr. Yon seconded the
motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Parker – yes, Mr. Yon – yes, Mrs. Silverman- yes
At 7:55 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go out of Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr. Yon seconded
the motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Parker – yes, Mr. Yon – yes, Mrs. Silverman - yes
Mr. Yon made a motion to seal the records, the motion was seconded by Mr. Parker, the motion passed 3-0.

*** DISCUSS 2010 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING: Mr. Parker is gong to bring people up to date with regard to high speed internet
and what is going on in town.

*** COPY OF LETTER FROM DES RE: CLOSURE OF MEADOWWOOD LOD: Reviewed
*** WOODBROOK 911: Mrs. Thompson has been working with Sue Merrit at 911 she has some questions that Woodbrook
needs to answer.
