BOARD MEETING MINUTES
March 11, 2010
Selectmen Present: Thomas Parker, Chmn., Carmen Yon & Susan Silverman
Mr. Parker opened the meeting at 9:00 am
PRIMARY:
9:00 MEET WITH MARK SWEENEY RE: ZONING VIOLATIONS: Mr. Parker stated that he would like to see Mr. Sweeney being
more proactive in bringing zoning violations to the board. Mr. Parker stated that the board wanted to speak with Mr. Sweeney
with regard to Jason Hill’s building permit. Mr. Parker questioned if he went onto the property. Mr. Sweeney stated that he did
not he took pictures from a distance. Mr. Parker stated that he would like Mr. Sweeney to contact Mr. Hill and make an
appointment for an inspection. Mrs. Silverman stated that she feels that he is running a business that should have gone for a
site plan review before the Planning Board. Mrs. Silverman stated that she would like an inventory of everyone in town that
has storage trailers.
Mr. Parker stated that he spoke with Mr. Lambshead with regard to the trailer in his yard. It appears that there is someone
living in there. Mr. Sweeney stated that it is hard to determine with our zoning with regard to trailers and if they are meeting
the requirements. Mr. Sweeney stated that he just drove by the Arsenault trailer and there appears to be someone living
there, which we have told them in the past that they are not allowed to live there year round.
9:30 MEET WITH DENISE NOLAN – NON-PUBLIC
At 9:25 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr. Yon seconded the
motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Parker – yes, Mr. Yon – yes, Mrs. Silverman- yes
At 9:50 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go out of Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr. Yon seconded
the motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Parker – yes, Mr. Yon – yes, Mrs. Silverman - yes
Mr. Yon made a motion to seal the records, the motion was seconded by Mr. Parker, the motion passed 3-0.

At 9:50 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr. Yon seconded the

At 9:55 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go out of Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr. Yon seconded

Mr. Yon made a motion to seal the records, the motion was seconded by Mr. Parker, the motion passed 3-0.

10:30 MEET WITH JANE WRIGHT – NON-PUBLIC
At 10:30 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr. Yon seconded the
motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Parker – yes, Mr. Yon – yes, Mrs. Silverman- yes
At 11:05 pm, Mr. Parker made a motion to go out of Non-Public Session under RSA 91 A:3 II (e). Mr. Yon seconded
the motion. The motion passed 3-0. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Parker – yes, Mr. Yon – yes, Mrs. Silverman - yes
Mr. Yon made a motion to seal the records, the motion was seconded by Mr. Parker, the motion passed 3-0.

*** SIGN Payroll and Accounts Payable Manifests: Reviewed and approved
*** BUILDING PERMIT – TAX MAP 04 LOT 43-01: Mrs. Silverman would like to include a letter with this permit stating that we
have been made aware that he has brought in heavy equipment and trucked out logs after the roads have been posted this is
in violation and fines can be imposed. Mr. Yon moved to approve the building permit with a copy of this letter being sent, the
motion was seconded by Mrs. Silverman, the motion passed 3-0
BUILDING PERMIT 06-11: Mr. Parker requested a one year extension on his building permit. Mr. Yon moved to approve,
the motion was seconded Mrs. Silverman, the motion passed 2-0.
*** WOODBROOK FINAL HOUSE NUMBERS – VOTE TO ACCEPT: Mr. Yon moved to accept these numbers, the motion was
seconded by Mrs. Silverman, the motion passed 3-0. These will take effect April 15, Marion Wheeler, Postmaster has
indicated that these will not be mailing addresses, they do not deliver mail within trailer parks.
*** SEPTIC SYSTEM PLAN – TAX MAP: Mr. Yon moved to approve to forward to DES, the motion was seconded by Mrs.
Silverman, the motion passed 3-0.
*** COPY OF LETTER TO BOSONETTO: Reviewed
*** POLICE DEPT UPDATE ON DALEY ROAD FIRE, MONTHLY SCHEDULE AND WEEKLY REPORTS: Reviewed
*** REQUEST FOR DAY OFF: Mrs. Thompson is requesting Friday March 12, 2010 off. Mr. Yon moved to approve, the motion
was seconded by Mrs. Silverman, the motion passed 3-0.
*** COPY OF LETTER FROM DES RE: FLEUR DE LIS: Reviewed
*** REQUISITION FOR NEW COPIER: Mrs. Silverman moved to purchase, the motion was seconded by Mr. Yon, the motion
passed 3-0 .
*** BROADBAND INITIATIVES MEETING TOMORROW IN KEENE:
*** This year was Bill Prigges 40th year as moderator. Mrs. Thompson stated that we can put something in the town
report next year.
*** POSTAGE METER: They are offering insurance on the meter which is $30.00 a quarter. The board does not want to
purchase this.
*** POLICE: Mr. Parker would like Chief Kassotis to come in and go over the police schedule with the board.
